What is Webassembly?
mForce365 is compiled to Webassembly. What is that?
Technically, Webassembly is a binary instruction format for a stack-based virtual machine. Wasm is designed as a portable compilation target for programming languages, enabling deployment on the web for client and server applications.
The first time I saw webassembly was at a Google conference, where I saw Autocad running natively in the browser, with no associated servers or, just stuff. For those of you who know, Autocad is a super complex Computer-aided design system that has a very complex user interface, but there it was, running in a browser.
WebAssembly has already been shipped in almost every browser and is efficient and fast, Safe, Open and debuggable and part of the open web platform.
For the layman, it's just possible that everything you knew about web development is about to change through webassembly.
